Terms of Use
1. What Nurtelio is
Nurtelio is a free journal for parents and caregivers. It records everyday events about a baby, a pregnancy or the postpartum period, shows them as history, trends and growth charts, and can synchronise them between the members of a family through the service at https://nurtelio.papouga.fr. Using the app or the service means you accept these terms.
2. Not a medical device
Nurtelio is a note-taking and organisation tool. It is not a medical device, gives no medical advice, and does not diagnose, monitor or treat any condition. The growth charts compare your entries with the World Health Organization Child Growth Standards, and the sleep guide combines your entries with published sleep-duration recommendations and commonly used wake-window ranges, for information only; interpretation of a child's growth or health belongs to a doctor, midwife or other qualified professional. Never delay seeking medical care because of something shown in the app. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
3. Who may use it
You must be an adult with parental responsibility for the child concerned, or act with the agreement of the child's parents (for example as a grandparent or childminder). You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for whom you invite into a family.
4. Families and invite codes
Anyone who has a family's invite code can join it and see its records. Share codes only with people you trust, generate a new code if one leaks, and remove members who should no longer have access. The owner of a family is responsible for the members they admit. You must not attempt to access a family you were not invited to.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to store content unrelated to its purpose, to store content that is illegal or harmful, to disrupt the service, to circumvent its security or limits, or to access other people's data. We may suspend or remove data or access that breaches these terms or the law.
6. Availability and your own copy
The service is provided free of charge, as is and as available, by a small publisher. We do our best to keep it running, but it may be interrupted, changed or discontinued. The app keeps working offline, and you can export your records as a CSV file from the Account tab at any time; keep your own backups of anything important to you. Should the service be discontinued, we will announce it in the app in advance where possible.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect losses, for decisions taken on the basis of information shown in the app, or for the loss of data that you have not exported. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer protection law grants you and that cannot be waived.
8. Intellectual property
The Nurtelio name, logo, illustrations and software are the property of the publisher. Your records remain yours; we claim no rights over them beyond what is needed to provide the service. Typefaces are used under the SIL Open Font License and growth references are published by the World Health Organization.
9. Free use, rewarded videos and Nurtelio Plus
Logging, timers, the day's dashboard, reminders, family sharing, export and deletion are free. The analysis screens (history, trends, growth curves) are free for the first seven days, then unlocked for three days each time you choose to watch a short rewarded video, or permanently with Nurtelio Plus, a one-time purchase made through Google Play. If no video can be shown, the analyses are unlocked for the day anyway. Purchases are tied to your Google account, can be restored on another device, and are refunded under Google Play's policy. We may change the price or the duration unlocked by a video for the future; existing purchases keep their benefits.
10. Personal data
How data is handled is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
11. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest revision and material changes will be announced in the app. You may stop using the service at any time by deleting your data from the app.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Consumers residing in the European Union also benefit from the mandatory provisions of their country of residence and may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
